Steps to a bright smile

After Dr. Jamie Sands and Dr. Jason Sands analyze your teeth and gums, they will explain to you the procedure that will best accommodate your individual needs and goals.  Before bleaching can begin, any cavities or gum problems must be addressed.

The in-office whitening method typically takes one to three hours and results in an instant and noticeable change.

For the at-home whitening method, special molds of your teeth will be taken at Smiles By Sands and are used to make flexible trays that are custom-fitting and hold the bleaching gel securely and comfortably inside of your mouth.

These instructions should be read and followed carefully.  Only the bleaching materials given by Dr. Jamie Sands and Dr. Jason Sands can be used safely in the trays.

Upon completion of the whitening treatment, you will be examined by your dentist to talk about the results.
