Is tooth whitening safe?

Throughout the past several years, researchers have found tooth whitening and bleaching to be very safe and effective. The American Dental Association has given their seal of approval to the whitening and bleaching products.

After the process, the most common side effect would be tooth sensitivity to warm or cool temperature foods. If patients have sensitivity after the whitening it typically will fade after 48 hours.
